The main aim of this research was to investigate the current methods used by Libyan school psychologists for children referred them as having emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), make comparisons, where possible, with previous research. data presented is taken from an adapted questionnaire which based closely on that McCall (1993). Analysis responses 8 schools two cities (Tripoli & Benghazi) indicated traditional are in common usage among psychologists. Intelligent tests e.g. attainment reading were more than observation assessing referred.
